Who We AreBest Athletics Strength and Conditioning is led by Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Haylie Best. She has a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, and is NSCA C.S.C.S certified. Our goal is to take your athlete to the next level by improving their strength, speed, power, and athleticism. This is done in an age-appropriate environment that pushes your athlete within his/her limits. We value every athlete that comes through our doors and we have created a safe space for the female athlete to chase her dreams.

Haylie Best
A former collegiate player, Haylie competed for four years at the University of West Alabama, where she also earned her Master’s degree in Exercise Science.
In addition to her softball expertise, Haylie is passionate about sports performance training. She leads strength, speed, agility, conditioning, and performance enhancement programs at Best Athletics, helping athletes maximize their potential on and off the field. Her unique combination of playing experience and academic background makes her a standout in both softball instruction and athletic development.

Andy Kuhn is a dedicated Sports Performance Trainer at Best Athletics, bringing a strong background in athletic training and a passion for athlete development. He holds a degree in Athletic Training from Belhaven University and has worked with a variety of schools and gyms, gaining valuable experience across different sports and performance settings. Andy’s expertise, combined with his energy and commitment to helping athletes reach their full potential, makes him a key asset to the Best Athletics Sports Performance Training Program. Whether working with youth or advanced athletes, Andy focuses on building strength, speed, and overall athleticism in a safe and motivating environment.
